Content rules
Our content rules.
We write and schedule posts for local businesses. These rules keep every post honest, legal and within each platform's rules. They are part of our Terms.
Version 2026-10-16.
Businesses we do not serve
- Adult content or sexual services
- Guns, ammunition or explosives sales
- Tobacco, vapes, cannabis, CBD, hemp THC, kratom or drug gear
- Gambling, betting, or businesses built on lotteries or sweepstakes
- Payday or title loans, debt relief, credit repair, crypto or forex trading, or MLM recruiting
- Political campaigns or issue groups
- Medical, dental, mental health, med spa or pharmacy care
- Work that is illegal where you are, or that needs a license you do not have
- Groups that attack people for who they are
Some businesses need extra care, like bars, gun ranges, pawn shops, lenders and law firms. We ask more questions before we start. If we refuse to start, we refund everything you paid. If we have to end service later, we refund the current month and any later month you paid for.
Posts we never write
- Anything sexual, hateful, violent or cruel
- A claim you have not confirmed to us in writing, such as licensed, insured, a warranty, a price, an award, "best" or years in business
- Made-up reviews, customers, numbers or deadlines
- Promises about health, cures, weight loss or money
- Posts that mock how people look
- Put-downs of other businesses
- Contests or giveaways, unless you send written rules that meet each platform's rules
- Rewards for reviews, or asking only happy customers for reviews
- Posts another company pays you to make
- Other people's names, faces, homes, cars or logos without their OK
- Sales pitches tied to a tragedy or disaster
Platform rules
- We write every post to follow each platform's rules. The platforms make their own decisions.
- We do not put a phone number, email or social handle in the text of a Google post. We add a Call button when your profile has a phone number.
- We use 5 hashtags or fewer on Instagram.
- If a platform does not allow a post, we skip that account and tell you.
Photos you send
- Send only photos you took or have permission to use.
- Anyone who can be recognized must have agreed to be in your posts.
- Children appear only with a parent's written OK.
- A person on our team checks every photo before we use it.
- We may crop or blur faces, house numbers and license plates.
- We never show a made-up image as a real job you did.
Reviews (Pro plan)
- We quote only real reviews from real customers, using their exact words.
- We never change a review's meaning.
- We never use a reviewer's full name. We use a first name and last initial only if they said yes.
- We do not arrange rewards for reviews. We skip any review that was rewarded for a good rating, or that was gathered against the platform's rules.
- If a customer got a gift or discount for an honest review, tell us. We say so clearly in the post or skip that review.
Report a problem
- Clients: use "Report a problem with a post" in your dashboard. Anyone else: email [email protected] with a link to the post.
- We aim to reply by the end of the next business day.
- If the post breaks these rules, we take it down or ask the owner to. We aim to do that within 1 business day of your report.
- Business days are Monday to Friday, Georgia time, not counting holidays.
- Owners can delete any post at any time in their own account.
- If you think a post uses your photo or writing without permission, email us the same way.
What we can do
- We can turn down a business, a post or a photo.
- We can edit a post to meet these rules.
- We can pause a client who keeps asking for posts that break them. If we pause or end service, we refund the current month and any later month you paid for.
- Google, Meta and LinkedIn make their own decisions. We cannot undo them, but we help you respond.
